1950s Dress & Jacket Set, L / XL

Beautiful dress  and jacket two-piece set from the 1950s.  Horrockses was a cotton manufacturer in Britain, founded in 1791.  In order to have control over its fabrics, it parent company, Crewdson & Company Ltd. created a ready to wear line of clothing.  Known for their cotton prints, this set in black cotton is a rare find.

The dress features a wide, square neckline, fitted bodice, hip pockets and kick pleats at the back hem.  Side, metal zip.

The jacket has a wide neckline with spread collar lapels.  Double breasted button front with fitted silhouette and 3/4 sleeves.

Both pieces are fully lined.
