Gucci Basset Hound Print Scarf

Vintage scarf featuring two Basset Hounds on a cream background with chocolate brown border.  The border detail has the house of Gucci signature green and red colours on a painted belt.

The silk twill scarf features two Basset Hounds on a cream background with a dark brown border.  The edges are hand rolled and hand stitched.  

The painting may have been done by Vittorio Accornero, an Italian artist who designed approximately 80 scarves for Gucci between 1960 and 1981.  Some other scarves in this series feature hunting dogs.

This is a rare and collectible print in excellent condition.
